Neighborhood Crime Watch operates under 2 principles: Know your Neighbors and Report Suspicious Activity. If your HOA hasn.t already, the Crime Prevention Unit of the Plano Police Department will help you organize a Crime Watch Area for your HOA. Once the Area is organized, Plano Police Officers will send bulletins to Crime Watch Areas on an as-needed basis.

3/26/08 crimewatch meeting update

Everyone,
I want to thank each and every person who showed up to the Crimewatch meeting. For those who couldn't make it, perhaps at the next Crime Watch function.

I also want to extend a personal thank you for those who signed up to become Block Captains.

There were approximately 15 people in attendance, not counting the vendors.

Of the 15, 10 have signed up to become Block Captain.

My goal is to have all the necessary paperwork in by the close of business this Friday in order to re-activate the area.

I'll keep you updated.
